Gal Gadot was five months pregnant shooting Wonder Woman scenes

Wonder Woman is getting a huge amount of praise - and rightly so.

And it’s not just the movie that's getting rave reviews, it’s the leading lady. Yes, Gal Gadot’s name is everywhere at the minute thanks to her incredible performance as the badass superhero, Wonder Woman. However, the actress has shocked audiences after it was revealed that she filmed some parts of the hit film while five months pregnant.

The actress wasn’t even showing when she filmed the bulk of the photography for the film, however, she had to return some months later to reshoot certain scenes – just three months before her due date. Donning a rather bizarre version of her superhero costume, Gal shot multiple high intensity scenes with her baby in tow. “Close-up I looked very much like Wonder Woman,” the actress told EW.

However, with a green triangle stuck to her bump, Gal said a little editing had audiences none the wiser. “On wide shots I looked very funny, like Wonder Woman pregnant with Kermit the Frog.”
