We’re intrigued.

Holly Willoughby has been known to give a few parenting tips and tricks over the years but her latest one has really piqued our interest.

According to the This Morning presenter, Willoughby says she has a full proof way of telling what gender a baby is going to be before they are born.

When I first heard Willoughby say that she had a ‘100% accurate’ method of predicting a baby’s gender, I really thought it was going to be the old wives tale of whether or not the bump is high or low.

That turned out not to be the case at all.

While Willoughby does use the bump to figure out what gender the baby is it has less to do with how high your bump sits and more to do with where your hand rests.

According to Willoughby if your bump travels the natural shape of your hand, then you’re having a boy, however, if your hand curves, even slightly, around the bump you’re due to have a girl.

The mother of three revealed her full proof technique on a recent episode of This Morning;

“If you go to your bump, and it dips into that exact same thing on the side, that’s a boy.

If it goes out, just a tiny bit, that’s a girl.

Let me know if that works for you.”

Willoughby encouraged viewers to have a go of it at home and if you’ve tried out Holly’s gender prediction method let us know in the comment section or by Tweet.
