Jamie Lynn Spears remembers discovering she was pregnant after audition for Twilight

Wow, we did not know this.

While most of us remember Jamie Lynn Spears best for playing the lead character in TV show Zoey 101, she may have ended up in a very well known movie franchise too. The 29-year-old recently revealed in an interview that it was just after she had auditioned for Twilight that she found out she was pregnant. The up and coming Spears shocked everyone when she announced back in 2007 that she was pregnant at the age of 16. While Spears has spent the last twelve years mainly focusing on raising her daughters Maddie Briann and Ivey Joan, she also continued acting with one of her most recent roles being Noreen Fitzgibbons in Netflix's Sweet Magnolias. Unbeknownst to most of us though was the fact that Spears might have been one of the characters in teen vampire franchise Twilight. In an interview with Nylon Spears said;

"I remember just thinking like, ‘Y'all are insane. I'm not playing a vampire. That is so stupid. Why would I do that?' But I went and read for that role." I remember sitting in this little room, and I think Lily Collins was there, and I felt so sick. Little did I know, I was pregnant."

Ever since the news hit fans of the Twilight series that Spears may have been cast everyone has been trying to figure out what role she might have been up for. Can you imagine how different the films would have been if Spears had been one of the leading ladies? Also that little nod to Lily Collins also being at the audition has me thinking about what an interesting Bella she would have been.
