Supernatural star and dad-to-be Jeffrey Dean Morgan spilled the beans over the weekend – as he accidentally revealed the gender of his and Hilarie Burton’s second baby.
The 51 year old shared the news at a Supernatural convention in New Jersey on Sunday, where he let it slip that the couple are expecting a baby girl.
And the Grey’s Anatomy star took the goof in stride, sharing a fan photo of the exact moment he realised he had messed up.

The 51-year-old wrote:
“Whoever took this picture?? Caught a moment… thank you. We shall cherish…. I texted @hilarieburton right after I spilled the little girl beans…and, as usual…she was a rockstar.
“After all these years she’s come to expect me to be a dope… thank god she gets it, and loves me regardless.”
It comes as the couple, who share a 7 year old son named Gus, shared their happy news at the Emmy Awards last weekend.

The One Tree Hill actress cradled her blossoming baby bump as she walked the red carpet with her husband.
Hilarie, 35, and The Walking Dead star, 51, have been together since 2009 and admitted that their relationship “moved pretty quickly”.
The pair welcomed their first child, Augustus, in May of 2010.
