Meghan Markle is planning a mother and baby yoga room for her new home

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are pretty busy at the moment.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, are expecting their first child in spring and there’s a lot going on as they await the arrival of their little one.

Today, they’re in Birkenhead attending their first official engagement of 2019 but aside from that, they have a fairly major project going on, renovating their home.

As royal fans are probably aware, the couple plans to move into Frogmore House in Windsor before then but it seems there’s a lot of changes to be made first.

A source told The Mirror that the renovation is a “very expensive affair” and yeah, only the best for Markle Junior.

Apparently, they want to introduce a ‘floating’ family yoga studio…okay then.

Yep, Meghan Markle is eager to get a mother and baby yoga room up and running, complete with a special floating floor.

The former Suits actress is thought to have introduced Prince Harry to yoga and he’s extremely supportive of his wife’s plans to build a room especially for her favourite hobby in their home.

If the reports are true, they plan on taking up the original Victorian floorboards and replacing them with a ‘sprung floor’, the type that is often used in dance studios.

They will then reuse the floorboards elsewhere in the house.

It seems that Meghan has been meeting regularly with the team working on their new home and The Express reports that new fireplaces and staircases are also on the list.

There is also said to be work ongoing for extensions to the orangery and a ‘granny flat’ which could well be for Doria Ragland, Meghan’s mum when she comes to stay with the family.

It’s believed that work on the ten-bedroom house will be completed before the birth of their baby, with Kensington Palace previously confirming Meghan’s due date as spring 2019.
