Mums think this bizarre 'Baby Momma Dance' might induce labour

The craze is sweeping across the internet and mums think it might actually induce labour.

Everyone has come across the classic methods that are supposed to induce labour, spicy food, exercise, or even sex (that one we learned from that hilarious Friends episode).

Mums think this bizarre 'Baby Momma Dance' might induce labour

One you might not be aware of though is the “Baby Momma Dance”, a vigorous set of movements to the hilarious song created by YouTube sensation, Starrkeisha. The original video which was posted five years ago, has over 11 million views and we have to admit, the song is pretty hilarious.

In particular, we love the lyrics:

“Preggo but I’m still doin’ moves like Beyonce
Yeah I said I’m pregnant (pregnant)
Get the child support and pay my rent (pay my rent)
Your opinion is irrelevant (irrelevant)
Cause I’m a baby mama I can do just what I wanna (Turn up!)”

And loads of pregnant ladies have been posting their versions of the dance ever since:

The latest of which was posted by family vloggers, The Chatwins. Mum Cara, who is pregnant with triplets, brings her A-game along with husband, Darik and daughter, Gemma. In the video’s description the family says:

“Doing any dance while 32 weeks pregnant is difficult, somehow Cara manages to be full term for triplets, and still attempts it. Gemma joins in with the family fun as well.

Going into Labor with the triplets seems to have been sped up, after watching Cara drop it down. The Chatwins are about to be a family of 6 after this dance!”

The video which was posted on 18 October is the latest to test out the labour inducing theory and already has a staggering 71,000 views of the adorable family in matching Addidas tracksuits breaking it down to the catchy tune.

Fair play to Mama Cara for having that energy…and managing to get down that low!

What do you reckon ladies, do you think this is the new hack to speed the labour process along? It’s definitely a bit daft but maybe worth a try.
