A fantastic addition to their range.

If there is one thing you want when you’re pregnant it’s comfortable and stretchy clothing.

I absolutely lived in my leggings and work out (the biggest work out when trying to pick something up that I dropped) clothing during both of my pregnancies. Saying that it’s not always easy to find maternity leggings outside of certain maternity specific stores.

With shops like Mothercare sadly closing it’s left a lot of mums wondering where they will get nice maternity wear that will get them through the next nine months.

Luckily Nike has just dropped a brand new line of maternity clothing and they’re pretty stylish.

Nike’s new maternity range Nike (M) was created by combing through pregnancy data findings with analytics from more than 150,000 comparison scans of non-pregnant women against those of pregnant women.

Throughout the design process, designers also gathered detailed feedback on fit, feel and function from nearly 30 female athletes who were pregnant or postpartum.

Speaking about the new range Carmen Zolman, Nike Senior Design Director for Apparel Innovation said;

“The more we listened to expecting mothers and postpartum mothers, the more we learned, reworked and innovated through inclusive design.

It’s the project of a lifetime to work in lockstep with all kinds of mothers to bring to life a capsule that truly supports women’s relationship with sport during such a transformative time in their lives.”

The current Nike (M) Collection is a four-piece essentials capsule consisting of the Nike (M) Pullover, the Nike (M) Swoosh Bra, the Nike (M) Tank and Nike One (M) Tight.

The new range aims to be versatile and see mums through their pregnancy and new motherhood.

The Nike (M) collection launches September 17 in North America, Europe and Africa on nike.com.
