Pippa Middleton is reportedly expecting her second child with husband James Matthews.
The socialite and author will seemingly welcome her second child next year. “Pippa and James are thrilled, it’s fantastic news amid a difficult year. The entire family is delighted," a source told
Page Six.
37-year-old Pippa welcomed her first child, son Arthur, in 2018. She wrote in detail last year about how she had been taking her son to a "baby gym," to keep both him and her active.
"I needed to find something more than just park walks in the pram," she said.
"Our local baby gym has been a saving grace. It’s a big space full of fun, soft objects, playmats, stairs, balls, swings, mini trampolines and more to stimulate and physically engage babies and toddlers.
“Arthur burns lots of energy in this safe environment and learns many physical skills. I have also noticed him building his confidence with each visit.”
Pippa and husband James had been dating on and off since 2012, before he eventually popped the question. The couple married in May 2017 at St. Mark’s Church in Englefield, welcoming their son a year later.
A source close to the couple recently told PEOPLE magazine that Pippa and James are looking forward “having children and leading a quiet life.”
They have yet to confirm the pregnancy.
