Pregnant women can now get a free ‘baby on board’ badge from Irish Rail.
The rail service have introduced the initiative to ensure that pregnant women are as comfortable as possible when travelling.
The badges will make it easier for other customers to know that expectant mums have a good reason to need a seat.
They’ll also hopefully eliminate the awkwardness that sometimes comes with having to ask for a fellow passenger to give up their seat.

This ‘baby on board’ badge initiative has already proven to be a success in places like London and New York.
