This thread on trimming your ‘lady garden’ while pregnant is brilliant

The post is going viral.

Lady garden

Whether clean shaven, fully grown, or somewhere in between, the maintenance of a woman’s downstairs region tends to be a matter of personal taste.

However, if you’re pregnant, the process becomes a little harder.

One mum shared her own experience (or lack, thereof) of trimming her own “lady garden” while pregnant on a message board for parents, Mumsnet.

User ‘noodleaddict’ took to the site to ask if anybody had advice on how to trim or shave down there because “it’s bloody awkward reaching around the belly even with a mirror to help.”

The mum-to-be added that her first born “…had to be handed a machete on the way out to hack her way through the jungle.”

She said she wanted to avoid that this time.

The responses to noodleaddict’s query are nothing short of brilliant.

One user, ‘Oysterbabe’ took some advice from Frozen‘s Ana and Elsa, suggesting that she should just “Let it grow, let it grow, you can’t hold it back anymore.”

Another calling themselves ‘mammabear4’ said that she was currently sporting a “full on 70s bush.” She’s planning to leave everything “wild and free” until the very last minute of her pregnancy.

Pregnant

‘Motherofkitties’ said that she had gone for a wax while 38 weeks pregnant because she “can’t see what I’m doing!”, but warned that the regrowth was a lot more painful than she had expected.

User ‘notomatoes’ eventually waded in with a stream of all-caps ‘hahas’ declaring: “Seriously, I haven’t seen it for months.”

It is not yet known what course of action noodleaddict is planning to take for her own lady garden.
