Gal Gadot on why she loved giving birth

I could not agree more.

So often, when we hear about birth, it is presented as some kind of horror story. There are tales about uncomfortable contractions, painful tears and dramatic incidents, and rarely do we get to hear the other side of it – women talking about the sheer magic of giving birth, of how empowering it really is, how truly life-changing.

This is how I felt giving birth both times – even declaring to my partner immediately after delivery how I couldn’t wait to do it again. It was the craziest, most amazing thing I had ever done, and I literally felt like I could do it a hundred times over.

Actress Gal Gadot recently revealed how she felt the same thing after giving birth.

The Wonder Woman star told InStyle:

“I love giving birth.

I would do it once a week if I could,” the 36-year-old said.

“It’s so magical.”

The Israeli-born actor, who shares daughters Alma, 10, Maya, 4, and Daniella, 8 months, with her husband, Jaron Varsano, noted that she opts for an anaesthetic.

“I always take epidurals, to be fair, so it’s not so painful,” Gadot revealed. “Just the moment you feel like you’re creating life, it’s incredible.”

But Gadot said she struggles with pregnancy.

“I feel sick and have migraines,” she shared. “I’m not in my element.”
