Which of these life events do you consider the most stressful?

Buying a house, changing jobs, getting married and having kids are just a few of the major events that happen in your life but have you ever asked yourself which one was the most stressful?

According to The Scotsman a new survey, conducted by Which? Mortgage Advisers, has and you might find the results rather surprising.

It seems that the majority of people find moving home more stressful than having children with 70 per cent saying that selling a house is the most difficult and 69 per cent saying that buying a house is the most difficult.

The only thing that was considered harder than this was going through a divorce. Arranging care for an elderly relative also ranked highly.

Having a child was considered the fifth most stressful life event with over half revealing it had caused them stress.

Changing jobs, getting married and finding a school for your kid to go to also made it into the list but under half of people admitted that these were difficult.

We suppose the joy of having kids probably lessens the stress but still, if we had to choose between moving house and giving birth every day, we’d really have to think about it!
