“If this isn’t going to happen, I think I’m OK with it.”

Whitney Port has shared an emotive and honest post about her recent miscarriage.

The former The Hills star and TV personality said that she experienced a miscarriage two weeks ago, and that since then, it has been a struggle to accept how she has been feeling.

“This is really hard for me to write,” she said. “Two weeks ago, I had a miscarriage.”

“The amount of various emotions I felt in the past couple weeks have been extreme… from shock to sadness to relief, which then led to guilt for feeling that relief.

“My identity has been shaken in regards to who as a mom and human being. I’m currently in the process of learning to accept that my feelings are valid no matter what they are.”

Port went on to say that she understands other people may not feel the same way she does following such an experience, but that her own “personal emotions” are a result of “my own journey.”

“The video above is a glimpse into the story and coming to terms with how I feel,” she said.

“I welcome anyone to share their stories or feelings. I want my platform to be an open place where we can share difficult conversations.”

Port then shared a video of herself talking on a podcast about not being sure if she was ready to have another child.

She said that she felt the timing to become pregnant was “terrible” and that at one point, she thought: “If this isn’t going to happen, I think I’m OK with it.”

Port has one child, two-year-old Sonny.

This time last year, she admitted that she wasn’t sure if she was ready to have another baby, saying that she was experiencing “mom guilt.”

“I was so sick, I was just feeling all the crappy feelings of being pregnant I thought there is no way that I could ever go through this again,” she said in a video shared on her YouTube channel.

“I was like, well maybe one might be enough for us.”
