This woman revealed her method to induce labour and it’s quite surprising

"Jaryd came from behind and did what he needed to do..."

You gotta do what you gotta do!

Sophie Cachia, a mummy blogger from Australia has shared quite an intimate and interesting blog post on the lengths she went to last year to try and induce labour with her second child.

The 26-year-old, who was mother to three-year-old Bobby at the time, said she couldn’t handle being pregnant anymore and at 42-weeks along, she wanted to try and naturally induce her labour.

Taking to the internet, she searched all the ways she could get “things going” including eating pineapple and having sex. Sophie explained however at 42-weeks-pregnant, the thoughts of having sex wasn’t exactly appealing however, she read that semen can soften the cervix and help bring along labour, therefore she ordered her husband to go have a little time “with himself” and explained very openly the following:

“I got in position on hands and knees, whilst eating an apple and watching Suits, Jaryd came from behind and did what he needed to do. Literally.”

And believe it or not, by coincidence or otherwise, seven hours later, Sophie’s contractions began and she went to hospital to give birth.

Sharing this image the following day, Sophie wrote:

“Was that a dream? Did I actually just give birth to a girl? For two parents who were so convinced they were delivering a boy – Baby Hank – even right up to when bub was put on my chest (and I quickly thought the umbilical cord was a penis) Betty you have blown our minds!!! It took me a few hours to grasp the concept of you because it was like I was looking straight down at Bobby all over again. You are your big brothers twin!!! Absolutely besotted by you darling girl. Look how much your Dad loves you already. This photo truly sums up the quote ‘I never realised how much I loved your Daddy until I saw how much he loved you.”

The pair ended up calling their daughter Florence, who is now 1-years-old and SO cute!
