In recent years, pregnancy announcements have become more and more creative, with couples going to extreme lengths to share the news with family and friends. Long gone are the days of a simple reveal over dinner, today it’s all about the big social media reveal and this has to be one of the cutest we’ve seen.
Us The Duo first came to fame when they started uploading their six-second covers to Vine over five years ago and have since grown an audience of nearly 1.9 million subscribers on YouTube thanks to their mash-ups of the year’s biggest hits and other amazing covers.
Well, their latest musical post has been getting attention for a whole other reason.
Taking to Instagram yesterday, the pair teased a “big announcement” which I’m sure many fans believed to be new music. And while you could class it as a new original song, that wasn’t the real announcement.
“11:58am-finds out we’re pregnant… 12:00am-cries hysterically in pure joy… 1:00am-writes this song,” the pair captioned the song they wrote to announce the news and it is quite possibly one of the cutest pregnancy announcements we’ve ever seen.
The singers looked giddy as they revealed the news with followers and people were quick to congratulate the couple on the great news.
“Overjoyed for you both. Cutest announcement I’ve ever seen,” wrote one follower.
“Can’t wait to meet Us The Baby,” wrote another.
The soon-to-be parents also tagged their newly setup Instagram account for their little one and titled it, as expected, Us The Baby.
