There’s a candle that smells like Freshly Signed Divorce Papers and it’s a mood

Melissa Carton

That’s a big mood.

Relationships can be complicated and sometimes they just straight up don’t work out.

I’ve never been divorced myself but both my husband and I come from parents who have broken up or divorced so I’ve grown up with the understanding that sometimes relationships aren’t made to last.

Recently I have seen several of my friends go through divorces, some amicable, some truly awful. One thing that they all have in common is that they were all delighted when it was done and dusted and those papers were signed.

That’s the reason why when I saw this candle I instantly knew at least three people I could buy it for.

Ah, the fresh scent of freedom.

It seems you really can bottle the scent of never having to deal with your ex again and even better you can make that scent whatever you want.

Yes just like how the love potions in Harry Potter smelled liked your favourite things so can falling right back out of love, putting a silver lining on an otherwise pretty lousy time.

Some of the scents available include Banana Nut Bread, Mahogany Teakwood, Lavender Vanilla and Rich Chocolate.

The candles come in a variety of sizes depending on how much you need to unwind after those divorce papers are finally signed, sealed and delivered.

Made from soy wax all candles are customized with vinyl labels for a cherished keepsake after the candle is finished.

As well as being a great anti-Valentine treat on your first Valentines Day as a free agent ‘All Scentsational Aromas’ products are cruelty-free and do not test on animals.

Starting at €12.73 from Etsy for the smallest size it’s a great opportunity to put the smile back on your face or as part of a hamper for a friend who has just come out the other side of their divorce.
