Zara’s new collection of scented candles is divine – and look as chic as Diptyque candles

Zara scented candles

Taking online shopping to a whole new level this lockdown?

Same here.

I mean; what the heck else are we meant to be spending our time doing?!

And I don’t know about you, but what I am shopping is not clothes (who knows when we are going to need to wear something else than pyjamas anyway), but rather interiors and homeware. Why? Well, because, more than likely, for the next few weeks and months, we are going to be spending a lot more time at home and indoors than what we normally do.

So I guess then it’s only normal to want to make sure our homes feel cosy and clean and inviting. Which brings to one of my favourite things to shop for – especially right now. Scented candles.

My favourites have always been the beautiful candles from French label Diptyqye – both for their truly beautiful scents, but also, I am not going to lie, for the chic and utterly gorgeous packaging. But – all this loveliness comes with the hefty price tag of €50 per candle. Which, you know, is a bit much in the long run.

But – here is some great news: Zara has just released a brand new collection of scented candles, and they are gorgeous! Not only are the scents super inviting and classic, but the minimal packaging is so chic too! And at just €15.95, sure I can afford to try out all four – and snap up a couple for friends too – as I reckon these candles make the perfect quarantined birthday presents!

Just take a look:

Amalfi Sunray

With notes of bergamot, mandarin and orange flower, this candle is like your Italian holiday – all wrapped up in one candle.

“A sun-baked stroll through Italian streets with the echo of laughter, the clinking of cocktails and the relaxing spirit of the Holidays.”

Jo Malone CBE, founder of Jo Loves.

Ebony Wood

This gorgeous scent reveals notes of pink peppercorn, clove and ebony wood, in other words, a true old-school classic.

“Hints of wood and leather evoke the smell of a library filled with the classics.”

Jo Malone CBE, founder of Jo Loves.

Bohemian Bluebells

For the free-spirited flower child in you.

“A long Sunday afternoon walk through the English countryside with spring in full bloom.”

Jo Malone CBE, founder of Jo Loves.

Waterlily Tea Dress

With notes of vert de bergamot, spearmint and musk, this beautiful spring-feel fragrance will no doubt make this your new favourite candle.

“I am IN LOVE with this one. It’s a warm fragrance whose character hangs in the air.”

Jo Malone CBE, founder of Jo Loves.
