FOOD Speaking from experience, it is hard to manage do cook or prepare food when you have a baby attached to your boob for large parts of the day (and night). Hence it is always a good idea to bring along food when you visit a new mum. And don't just pick up some cake to share with her when you visit – much as you should, of course, do that too – or pizza, pizza is always a winner.
