Eva Longoria welcomed her newborn son, last week.

The actor named him Santiago Enrique Bastón after he entered the world on June 19 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, weighing 6 lbs and 13 oz.

Since then Eva has shared a few photos of her new son.

One of them was a close shot showing her cradling him and the other was one of him wearing a Mexico jersey for the World Cup.

Adorable.

Today, however, Longoria shared a different kind of photo – one that allowed her to thank the nurses who helped her deliver her baby at Cedars-Sinai.

Writing on Instagram, she said:

“Starting off my Monday full of gratitude for this little blessing of a human! Pepe and I want to thank all the nurses at @cedarssinai who took such great care of my baby and I.

“You are all angels, sharing your knowledge and experience to make sure new moms feel good about going home and caring for this fragile life of a newborn.

“I love this picture as a reminder that no matter how big you grow Santiago, you will always be my baby!”

This is Eva’s first child, however she is also step-mother to three other children from husband Jose ‘Pepe’ Baston’s previous marriage.
