Irish brand Lil & Izzy’s new collection comes with a wonderful charitable twist

Melissa Carton

Such a beautiful gesture.

Lil & Izzy, the Irish and sustainable children’s wear brand, are just about to release their third collection with a focus on giving back!

Lil & Izzy have collaborated with their friends over at the Pickled Pom Pom to launch a Hero zip baby grow to promote Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September.

As part of their new collection the Hero Baby Grow is limited edition with all profits going to children’s charity – The Gavin Glynn Foundation.

Inspired by Gavin’s super hero legacy, with a cool nod to David Bowies ‘We can be Hero’s’ the limited edition unisex print features abstract teddy bear faces with hero eye masks and lightning bolts representing innocence and strength.

Speaking about her latest collaboration, designer Katie said;

“The pandemic has affected us all in one way or another. But for some it was life & death. Our brand is one that cares, we live our values and after such a fantastic year we really wanted to give something back.”

Lil & Izzy are delighted to work with the Gavin Glynn Foundation as it relies on donations and receives no government funding.

The Hero Baby Grow is priced at €35 and is available in sizes New-born up to 24 months.

As well as the Hero Baby Grow, Lil & Izzy launch their third organic collection in September, consisting of their sought after two way zip baby grows in woodland autumnal prints and an earthy palette of khaki, grey and raspberry.

Much to their customers delight they have added matching sibling pyjamas up to age seven years to their collection this season too!
