The 11-week-old was brought to the hospital last week after his mum found the sharp tooth and was worried it would cause him to injure himself.
Speaking to MummyPages Tara said;
"The doctors were all puzzled, they said they had never seen anything like it before. They had to ring Temple St Children’s hospital for advice, who recommended a dentist in Drogheda who could see Oscar."In the end it was concluded that the fang was a regular tooth which had not formed properly and would need to be removed.
I started calling my daughter 'Mona the Vampire' after it was discovered that she was born with a tooth but I think Oscar may be the real 'Nosfera-tot'.
On average around 1 in every 2,000 babies will be born with a tooth.
"He’s our very own little Dracula. Thank goodness he is doing so much better now that it’s out and after lots of cuddles, of course"What would you do if you discovered 'vampire teeth' in your baby's mouth?
