Nick Carter asks for prayers for new baby’s “complications”

Heartbreaking.

Yesterday Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter took to social media to ask his fans to pray for his newborn baby. Carter and his wife Lauran Kitt welcomed their third child into the world this week but unfortunately their newborn is experiencing medical complications. https://www.instagram.com/p/CN8B1fdBzCu/?utm_source=ig_embed The couple, who are also parents to 5-year-old son Odin and 18-month-old daughter Saoirse, have spoken about experiencing miscarriages in the past and did not reveal their were expecting until January. Carter has said that while they have been told the medical complications are minor he is still extremely stressed and worried;

We are proud to announce that our baby has officially arrived. But as a parent knows all to very well, sometimes things don’t turn out the way you plan it. We have been experiencing some minor complications but things are looking a little better after the first night. I wanted to thank everyone for all the prayers and good thoughts during this time. We will keep you updated.

Ok. So everything is looking better but we’re not out of the woods yet. We have to stay in the hospital one more night. But Daddy and Mommy are watching baby like a Hawk. Thank you again for all your love and support. We see you.

Since posting to Instagram and Twitter hundreds of fans have sent messages to support to Carter and we really hope he updates soon to say that they have the all clear.
