Parent comes up with great hack for what to do with used packets of wipes

A great way to keep babies entertained.

It hasn’t been easy keeping the kids entertained solely at home the last while, especially my toddler.

She’s constantly looking for new ways to play and learn like any two-year-old so I’ve been looking for as many parenting tips and tricks as possible.

Recently I came across a great parenting on which involved nothing more than some cardboard, photos and of course used packets of baby wipes.

Mum Samantha Jane Pritchard created this fun open and discover play board for her baby by gluing family photos onto what looks to be an old cereal box.

Pritchard also took the flaps off of old packets of baby wipes and placed them over the photos so that her child could have hours of fun opening up and closing the flaps.

My little girl loves photos, she constantly stealing pictures from around the house and stashing them in her room.

A play mat like this would be just up her alley so I think I might have to try making one during lockdown.

It’s also a great way to reuse materials like parts of baby wipe packets that aren’t recyclable to stop them going to landfill.

Keeps the kids entertained and it’s zero waste, what more could you ask for?
