“I’m almost a bit embarrassed.”

Stacey Solomon has said that she’s trying to accept her feelings of mum guilt, eight weeks after welcoming her third baby.

The Loose Women presenter gave birth to baby Rex back in May.

She’s admitted that she’s been dealing with bouts of guilt and doesn’t know why.

Taking to Instagram, the star said that she’s been trying to remind herself that the feelings will pass.

“I feel like I shouldn’t really have these feelings because I’m nearly 8 weeks in and I am so incredibly lucky to have amazing children, a wonderful partner, loves loving, caring, & supportive family and I’m almost a bit embarrassed to say… That truth be told, I’m Having a bit of a gut wrenching day,” she wrote.

“One of those days that physically hurts your tummy. I have absolutely no idea why. Mum guilt has kicked in full swing. Nothing in particular triggers the feeling. It’s just there. Tried to keep busy and organise the hell out of the house which has helped for short moments (but also felt guilty about it). So making a conscious effort to try to accept it and let the feelings come and go.”

Stacey shared a beautiful selfie of herself with little Rex smiling up at her.

“I’ve been looking at it all day to remind myself that these feelings WILL pass and every day will be different,” she continued. “Thinking of anyone else having a struggle today or any day for that matter.”

The post prompted an outpouring of support from her fans, with many fellow mums saying they felt the same way after having a baby.

“Having a day like that myself with my 10 week old who just had injections, thank you for making me feel like I’m not alone.”

“Preach! I’m 11 weeks in and still cried today cos I didn’t know what was wrong with him.”

Stacey’s honesty about the ups and downs of new motherhood has delighted her followers.

She struck a chord with many last month when she revealed thats she was struggling with breastfeeding.

She’d been told to pump a lot, she said, because Rex wasn’t latching properly at the beginning.

“My milk didn’t come in until day five.

“I was told I needed to give top ups after every feed and make sure he gained enough weight.”
