Taco booties for babies exist and they are actually adorable enough to eat

Melissa Carton

We can’t deal.

Baby clothes are by definition cute.

I don’t know if it’s because it’s so funny to see the little tiny versions of adult clothes like jeans and trainers but I can’t get enough of baby clothes.

Of course writing for a parenting website I’m always on the look out for new trends in baby wear and I think I just found the new baby trend of 2020.

Taco booties.

Yes you heard me correctly, taco booties exist and they are just too cute.

Created by Gulnara Kydyrmyshova these taco booties are handcrafted in small batches.

They are made from natural wool, which is dyed, spun and felted, before being cut and stitched into adorable foodie details.

Made in Kyrgyzstan these booties are true show stoppers and you’re bound to have everyone ask you where you got them when you waltz into playgroup.

To be honest I’m actually a little jealous that they aren’t big enough for my feet (Googles adult sized taco booties).

If the booties are their own are not enough to satisfy your taco obsession and you think your child’s food could use a touch more Mexican food aesthetic Gulnara also makes taco themed baby mobiles.

It’s called Taco Dreams and it is a true work of art.

The handcrafted felt mobile features twirling tacos, avocados, and hot sauce.

I really wish I knew that these existed when my daughter was still young enough to be able to use them but if you’re lucky enough to have a tiny tot in your life here’s your chance to make them a tiny taco tot.

The taco booties are available from the Uncommon Goods website for €22.59 and the Taco Dreams baby mobile for €43.38.

Due to the handcrafted nature of the products styles and colours vary from batch to batch.
