There is a brand new Avoca opening today and we have already had a sneak peak

Looking for somewhere new and exciting to take a day trip over the Easter break?

Somewhere that has a bit of something for the whole family?

Well, we have got just the place: The brand new Avoca store in Dunboyne – which opens its doors to the public today.

We went out yesterday for a sneak peak and were left nothing short of in awe.

This 45,000 sq. ft. of retail space in Co. Meath is Avoca’s 12th store in Ireland and by far their largest offering to date.

Located in what was once Plantagen Garden Centre it is located on the M3 slip road, meaning it is easily accessible and offers plenty of free parking for visitors.

The new store is completely in tune with Avoca’s signature style and includes the 200 indoor-seater Fork Café, the Food Market and an outdoor seating terrace complete with its own wood-fire pizza van.

As well as this, the Fork Café will let visitors dine surrounded by growing vegetables, which will then be harvested, used in the AVOCA kitchens and served in their signature dishes – paying homage to the ‘Farm to Fork’ concept.

The Foodhall is an experience in itself, firmly positioning the store’s new Dunboyne branch on the map as a full-blown lifestyle food destination.

Highlights include the Avoca Butcher, presenting the best of Irish artisan free range organic meat. As well as this, the store continues their partnership with popular concessions found in their other branches such as Poulet Bonne Femme (will their delicious rotisserie meats, sandwiches, salads).

What’s more food-wise, there is also a Sprout & Co kitchen along with the opening of Kish Fish’s first concession with Avoca.

And when it comes to fashion and lifestyle, Avoca Dunboyne does not disappoint either.

There is an extensive area dedicated to womenswear, menswear and childrenswear along with an extensive beauty offering.

The book- and interior sections will make it hard to not want to spend all your money, and there are also concessions from Howbert & Mays Garden Centre, Nature’s Gold, Mitchell & Son wines and Joanna Caffrey Flowers.

This is what Maoliosa Connell, Marketing Manager at AVOCA had to say about today’s opening:

“We’re delighted to have secured such a prime location that will allow us to bring AVOCA products and services to a whole new group of customers. We’re thrilled by the response from our first shoppers and look forward to welcoming more in the coming months.”
