Flying with baby? Dublin Airport has opened new feeding rooms

Great news for holiday-bound mums and dads.

Three cheers for DAA!

Going anywhere with a baba in tow is tricky and feeding can be a minefield for nursing mums.

Thankfully, Dublin Airport has taken steps to make it easier to feed your little one in a private, peaceful environment.

Two brand new feeding rooms have just opened at the airport to cater to the smallest of passengers and their parents.

“We are passionate about improving our customers’ experience further so once the need for dedicated baby feeding rooms was identified, we began the process to make it happen,” said Dublin Airport Managing Director, Vincent Harrison.

The feeding rooms are located beside the retail area in Terminal 2 and the food court in Terminal 1, with seating just outside the feeding rooms for other family members.

“The prime locations for the baby feeding rooms means families and groups travelling together will not be separated,” Mr Harrison added.

Facilities in the rooms include a highchair, a microwave and a bottle warmer.

This isn’t the first initiative at the airport for parents travelling with kids.

The DAA also offers courtesy buggies and has soft play areas in both terminals.
