For any little golfers looking to learn the basics of the sport, a golfing summer camp is sure to be the perfect introduction.
Golf Ireland are supporting summer camps in golf clubs all around Ireland this summer and they're ideal for any kids looking to take up a new sport this summer. All equipment will be provided at the summer camps and kids can wear their usual sports gear, making it a really affordable hobby for children to try out over the coming months.

For older kids who are looking to improve their golfing skills, a driving range is the perfect low-pressure environment to practice.
One of the biggest benefits of practicing in a driving range is it's suitable whatever the weather, day or night. So, if the summer isn't quite as sunny as we're hoping it'll be, your family can still practice the basics of golf regardless. Most golf courses will give players the option to rent any equipment they need, such as golf balls and clubs, making it easy for beginners to try out the sport without breaking the bank.
