Dublin Zoo’s Wild Lights is back – Here’s everything you need to know

Dublin Zoo has announced the return of Wild Lights, with this year’s experience taking families on a journey around the world.

Wild Lights returns on November 12th with a brand-new theme, Passport to Wonder.

The popular light festival will feature nine immersive zones, each celebrating traditions and stories from around the world through handcrafted lanterns, light, music, colour and movement.

Visitors can expect to journey through celebrations including the golden glow of Diwali, the colours of Holi and Carnival, and the magic of Christmas.

There will also be a special Celtic zone celebrating Irish folklore, music and storytelling, with ancient legends, mischievous fairies and magical characters brought to life through light and colour.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am on September 30th, and there’s a great offer for early bookers.

Anyone who makes a qualifying Wild Lights purchase between September 30th and October 12th will automatically receive a complimentary daytime family visit to Dublin Zoo.

The complimentary visit is for up to two adults and three children, meaning families can enjoy another day out at the zoo alongside their experience.

A visit to Wild Lights also helps Dublin Zoo support its conservation work. The zoo cares for more than 400 animals and supports over 30 conservation partners in Ireland and around the world.

Wild Lights: Passport to Wonder opens on November 12th, with tickets available from 10am on September 30th.
