This weekend, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre is embracing the spooky season.

Families are invited to enjoy the free entertainment taking place over the long weekend and into next week, with no pre-booking required.

‘Spooktacular’ season will be full swing as the shopping centre unveils its Halloween extravaganza, kicking off Saturday, October 28th with the Day of the Dead Kiddie Disco, which continues until Wednesday, November 1st.

The kiddies are encouraged to unleash their inner monsters and come dressed in their favourite Halloween costumes (which will earn them a free glow in the dark face paint) and dance the day away under the neon lights of the fully decked out disco dance-floor.

Keep in mind, if a costume is scary enough to frighten other shoppers, it could win your little one a special spooky prize.

The seasonal fun and competition continues as DJ Dead Danny will be holding dance-off competitions to award the deadliest dancers.

Denis O’Connell, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre Director, expressed his delight about the launch of the first-ever Day of the Dead Disco, and explained what families can expect.

“We’re so excited to launch our first-ever Day of the Dead Disco at Liffey Valley, joining a line-up of successful events hosted in the Centre this year, including our Mother’s Day spin and win event, the return of the ever-popular Easter Emporium, and most recently, the expansion of the Liffey Valley Life Sessions.”

While no booking is required and completely free, be sure to get to Liffey Valley Shopping Centre ahead of time to avoid the scariest thing to all children: long queues.
