This genius suitcase transforms into a stroller for the airport

Traveling this summer?

Trine Jensen-Burke

I discovered, rather painflully, that travelling with a baby and travelling with a toddler are two very different things.

While a baby can be neatly contained in a sling or carrier while navigating an airport (or train station or whatever), a toddler, well, not so much. Having, due to family abroad and education and work, travelled extensively when both my babies were little, let me me tell you this: Trying to handle a toddler on the loose in the airport, while also trying to lug a suitcase or make it through security or get from the plane all the way to the luggage hall without losing your mind; well; it is tough going.

But I have come across a product so genius I think anyone who is ever planning to travel with their toddler needs to know about.

Say hello to the Mountain Buggy Bagrider Suitcase.

This all-in-one suitcase, which will set you back €99 (which is a fair price to pay for your sanity, I think) transforms your bag into a stroller.

And with a perfectly formed seat, your tot will be comfortable throughout your entire journey. In addition, you’ll always be able to keep an eye on them. Which, in a busy airport or train station, is vital.

With a simply twist, the seat unfolds from the suitcase as well as the integrated wheel system. This allows you to push the entire suitcase, child and all, in front of you with total balance.

The Buggy Bagrider can hold up to 15kg of weight, and comes complete with a three-point harness to to make sure your little one stays put and doesn’t topple to the ground, head first.

Navigating a busy airport? A total breeze.
