1. Mykonos

The Ioannou Residence

The Ioannou Residence is in the prime region of St. John (Agios Ioannis) with an excellent view to Delos Island and enjoys magnificent sunsets over the bay. The property is 3.5 km from Mykonos Town and 4km from the old port.

This beautiful, spacious Mykonos property sleeps up to 12 and includes a infinity pool with ocean views, bright family spaces and a location a short walk from a beach. Set near Mykonos town on the west coast of the island, it has sports facilities nearby and is a short drive from shops and restaurants. The residence is in the north of Santorini, 3.5km from cosmopolitan Oia and next to the Colombo undersea volcano. Cape Columbo Beach is 150m away. Car rental is essential for getting around the island, and particularly in this quiet and remote part.

3. Crete

The Chrissi Akti Beach Residence

The residence is behind the middle of Chrissi Akti Beach near Chania on the north coast of Crete. It is a quiet peaceful area with restaurants close by. Car rental recommended to get the best of the area: the hosts can help arrange it if necessary. Local attractions include the Therisso Gorge, 15 km away, mountain villages, modern beach life and historical sights. The residence is a 30-minute walk from Chania and can be accessed by bus, taxi or car in around 7-10 minutes.

Set directly on the Blue Flag Chrissi Akti Beach on the north side of Crete, this beach house is surrounded by a beautiful garden and ranges over 2 buildings, making it ideal for a larger family group. One house has 3 bedrooms while the other has 2 bedrooms. There are great restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets including local cuisine and more international choices a 10-minute walk or 2-minute drive from the house. The setting is quiet and relaxing. The garden is an oasis in its own right with olive and bougainvillea trees encircling the house. This space provides ample opportunities for both relaxing and entertaining at the generous and shady garden table.

The residence is right on the beach and has the Agioi Apostoloi nature area nearby with 2 sandy beaches, a park with a playground, a small forest of pines for walking, jogging, and picnics. There are many other beautiful beaches are around, such as Glaros, Aptera and Kalamaki.

4. Kea

The Danai Residence

The residence is on the island of Kea in the Cyclades Islands, 5 minutes’ drive to and from Korissia port and also Vourkari, which is a small traditional port with restaurants, taverns, bars and boutiques. The port offers all kinds of shops for groceries, meat, fish and also a mini market. It is a short drive to local beaches.

This pretty stone cottage with a pool and sensational sea views, 5 minutes from Kea’s main port and town, promises an unforgettable – and easy – family vacation. It is well equipped with an open plan kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine plus a high chair. The bedrooms are spacious and next to each other; there is stair gate on the staircase. There is an additional double bedroom in the guesthouse, with its own bathroom and private entryway, ideal for grandparents or a nanny.

Kids love the swimming pool area, where they can enjoy the sun and water, and watch the boats coming and going from the port. The lounge area next to it is great for snacks and meals and there is space to play. Some children’s toys are provided. The villa is a few minutes’ drive from a beautiful sandy beach, Yaliskari, and also the port and Vourkari, where you can go for delicious ice cream.

5. Paros

The Elia Villa

Located on the island of Paros in the Cyclades, the villa is set on a hillside known locally as Maggano, approximately 5km northeast of the seaside fishing village of Alyki, with sweeping views of grassy fields and the open sea. It is 15 minutes by car from the main town and port of Paros and 4 minutes from the airport.

Parents can enjoy long, leisurely evenings sitting out on the veranda watching the sun setting over Antiparos, or take in the same beautiful views from the oversized bathtub for two in the master suite. Weekly maid service is included, and the owners stock the house with Korres bath products, filtered drinking water, wine, beer, soda, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, cheese, and bread upon arrival.

Toys and water gear are provided for kids, as well as a high chair and outdoor couches for lounging and playing. The kids have a designated bedroom with children’s beds to call their own and the villa is stocked with essential nursery gear and toys for babies and toddlers.
