Hello Hollywood! Aer Lingus announces three US routes

Katie Mythen-Lynch

Aer Lingus is relaunching three transatlantic services, starting with five weekly flights from Dublin to Los Angeles in May next year.

The airline, bought by British Airways owner IAG during the summer, is also reintroducing its New Jersey (Dublin-Newark) route, which was cancelled in 2001 following the September 11 attacks.

A third route, Dublin to Hartford, Connecticut, will also launch next year, offering easy access to New England’s mansion-dotted coastline, famous autumn foliage and beautiful beaches.

Flights between Dublin and Los Angeles and Dublin and Newark are on sale now, while Hartford flights will be available for booking on November 3, 2015.
