RTÉ have launched their latest children’s animated series as part of their Home initiative.
The shorts all centre around the theme of home, and aim to enrich children’s learning through creative animation.

“RTÉjr are once again delighted to be able to support emerging animation directors and creators, which is at the very core of this scheme,” Suzanne Kelly, Head of Children’s & Young People’s Content, RTÉ, said.
The six stand-alone shorts are made by six different highly acclaimed Irish animation companies, including Studio Meala and Adventureverse.
Each explores different interpretations of the home using a variety of characters and storylines.
‘Envelope’ looks at how grandparents represent the feeling of home, while ‘Dembaya’ shows a child adapting to their new home in Ireland.
“They all deliver such touching, heartfelt films, I urge everyone young and old to seek them out across RTÉjr and the RTÉ Player,” Kelly added.

Each episode is only two minutes long, making it easy for children of all ages to follow along and enjoy.
