Killashee Hotel to open on June 29 with great Family Summer Staycation Breaks

Lockdown restrictions are finally beginning to lift.

If you're planning to take a staycation over the summer months Killashee in Kildare is running a fantastic family off.

Killashee Hotel is a firm family favourite and from June 29 the hotel is opening and offering a fantastic staycation package that includes two nights’ accommodation for 2 adults and up to 3 children (supplement for children over 12 years).

Included in the package is a full Irish breakfast each morning, and dinner in the new Terrace Restaurant on one evening of choice from €360.

Killashee has created designated family play hubs this summer, that can be pre-booked onsite for your family to enjoy their own private game of football, badminton, French boules & outdoor table tennis. Killashee also has family bicycles, which are complimentary to guests to venture further afield.

Summer means picnics and Killashee has introduced Family Picnics that can be enjoyed in its Teddy Bear Picnic House or on the magnificent grounds.


There are three types of delicious, freshly prepared Killashee Picnics to choose from.

Available to pre-order on Saturday and Sundays only, picnics for two adults and two children range from €40.00 to €60.00 with a Vegan Picnic for two adults at €30.00.

The Family Staycation package from €360 also includes full access to the Swimming Pool, a 10 per cent discount card for Kildare Village, two for the price of one access to Russborough House and two for the price of one access to the Irish National Stud Visitor Attraction Centre, where there are lots of activities for the all the family.

Full access to the Leisure Centre will be from July 20, with the swimming pool only open from June 29 to July 19 in line with government covid-19 restrictions.
