Some people are just born with good taste, it seems. And a business brain too.

Jessica Alba, the stunning movie star, mama-of-two and business owner (she co-founded the now billion-dollar Honest Company after having her first daughter eight years ago) can now add ‘landlord’ to her already impressive resume after she, according to Forbes, has now just listed her ‘starter home,’ on a property rental website.

The two-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Beverly Hills was featured on design website MyDomaine last year, with Alba admitting she will always have a soft-spot for her first home.

“After buying it when I was younger, pretty much anything that I made I would invest back into that house, so I have a fondness for it,” Alba explains.

The midcentury-modern interior boasts a jewel-tone palette with bursts of bold crimson and serene blue. Brandon Quattrone, co-founder of Consort Design, the firm behind the home transformation in 2015, told the website each room was decorated with a traveler in mind.

And Alba, helping agree on the look, says she imagined sort of a mashup of a hotel and a house when decorating.

“I travel a lot and if there was a house like mine to stay in instead of a hotel, I would want to stay in my house,” she explains. “So I’m just thinking of someone who travels and who wants a cozy but luxurious and safe place to be. That’s sort of the vibe.”

And if you have $11,500 per month to spare, “that sort of vibe” can be yours too, mamas. We’ll race you there, in fact, we just need to call the Credit Union first…
