This looks magical!

Christmas may still be a few months away but it’s never too soon to start thinking about the perfect festive getaway.

Westport House in the breathtaking west of Ireland is once again transforming into a spectacular Winter Wonderland and it’s something not to be missed.

From November 24 to December 23, Westport House will see the arrival of Santa and all of his helpers.

With story-telling, face painting, crafting, treats, a trip on the Santa Express Train across the Estate, complete with a visit with the man himself, Santa Claus, there’s no end of festive fun at this Winter Wonderland.

There’s also a special Santa visit for little guests with autism and other sensory sensitivities on December 6 from 3 pm to 8 pm.

Santa’s Little Helper will greet your children on the steps of the House and bring them for a magical story-time with Mrs Claus before they all head off to make Ginger Bread Man in the Long Gallery.

Afterwards, the little ones can sit with Santa Claus in his magical grotto and receive a small gift before popping off to see the elves hard at work in the Elves Workshop.

Then it’s off on the Santa Express Train to enjoy the magnificent winter views throughout the Estate. Winter Wonderland at Westport House is a wonderfully warm, old-fashioned Christmas experience, that the whole family can enjoy.
