Santa’s Magical Market returns to the Marina Market in Cork City

Jody Coffey

This November, Santa’s Magical Market will return to the Marina Market in Cork City.

Families, including dogs, are all welcome to enjoy the magic Christmas experience that includes a host of interactive fun.

On Friday, November 25th, the market will open to invite families into its snow-kissed woods, a ‘Polar Express’ train through the Christmas village, an Elf Toy Workshop, Mrs. Claus’ bakery, and a special visit to the South Pole Post Office.

Santa himself will be awaiting visitors in his snow-covered Grotto to top off the magical trip to the Marina Market and to fully immerse the family in the Christmas spirit.

Our four-legged, fluffy family members are also more than welcome to join in the family fun. They can even book their own special visit with ‘Santa Paws’.

This fully accessible event also features a sensory hour every Sunday morning from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m., with Enable Ireland announced as the proud partner of this special Santa experience.

Visitors will have the choice to tap to donate €2 to the charity and place a ribbon on a tree within the market, showing support and furthering the incredible work of Enable Ireland’s children’s centre in Cork, which is sure to put everyone who supports this great cause on the nice list.

There will be a range of food and craft halls throughout the Marina Market, as well as optional extras such as children’s gifts, photo prints, or treats from Mrs. Claus’s bakery, which can be selected at the time of online booking.

Santa’s Marina Market opens its doors on November 25th and will operate until December 23rd.
