When you're run ragged, and always putting yourself last, getting some time solo (or with your gal pals), pampering and a lie-in, and well, you might as well have just died and gone to heaven. The food at the Sika Restaurant is as sophisticated as its surroundings. The emphasis is on really, really good local produce cooked simply, and the result is a taste explosion. Arrive with an empty belly, but prepare to spend hours pouring over dishes and an equally as impressive wine list. THE SPA: It's a whopping 30,000-square foot luxury spa with 20 ESPA treatment rooms and was recently named Best Luxury Resort Spa in Ireland at the World Luxury Spa Awards. The pool area is dark and dreamy, and there's a relaxation room with views of the mountains and forest that makes you forget that a crazy, fast-paced world exists beyond the trees. It is utter relaxation, and we took full advantage of the pool and relaxation areas to unwind and destress.
