There’s a cottage in France made entirely of CHOCOLATE and I’ve booked my flights

Melissa Carton

Hanzel and Gretel eat your heart out, literally!

I’ve just discovered my ideal house and it is entirely made of chocolate.

The cottage built by artisan chocolatier Jean-Luc Decluzeau is 18 square meters and was made using 1.5 tons of chocolate!

According to its listing on Booking.com, the cottage can accommodate up to four guests, so that’s my next family holiday sorted.

But it’s not just the house itself that is made of chocolate, no, EVERYTHING is made of chocolate;

 “Custom chocolate details inside the cottage include everything from the walls and roof to the fireplace, dresser, clock, cups, books and even a chocolate chandelier.”

Just in case that wasn’t enough chocolate for you, outside there is a white chocolate duck pound and a chocolate flowerbed.

The good news is that a stay in chocolate heaven only costs €50 per night. The bad news is it is only available to rent for selected dates this year, this week and next weekend October 5 to October 6.

Those lucky enough to be able to stay at this cottage will be given a workshop on how to make their own so who knows there may be many more chocolate houses in the future.

I’m honestly surprised that it has lasted its first couple of nights of being rented. I mean how have the guests not eaten everything?
