This is the world’s smallest hotel and it looks super cosy

So small.

Ah, look.

Central Hotel & Cafe is a cosy little spot in Copenhagen.

It’s a place with a comfy bed, a cafe, a mini bar, and even a flat screen TV.

It’s also the world’s smallest hotel.

Comprised of just one bedroom with one double bed, a bathroom, and a cafe downstairs that sells sandwiches, cakes, and treats to other customers, the Central Hotel & Cafe was founded by two guys who wanted to give visitors a chance to “a part of the local community.”

The building where the hotel stands is one of the smallest in Copenhagen.

It was built in 1905 and, up until World War 2, it was a shoe repair shop.

The hotel’s owners, Jacob Kamp and Leif Thingtved, say they don’t know what the place was used for between the end of the war and the 1980s, but since then the house above had stood empty so they decided to renovate it.

According to them, staying in the hotel is akin to stepping back in time.

“When guests arrive at the hotel fresh flowers, fruit and wine will be waiting for them in their room. There is also the possibility of making fresh coffee.”

Breakfast is served between 7am and 12pm in the cafe below, Granola.

Staying in the world’s smallest hotel will set you back about €280 per night.

You’ll also be given a pair of bicycles to explore the city with. How cute.
