In the recent episodes of The Kardashians, Kim has been very open about discussing her health.
In an episode aired last week, Kim was in conversation with her sister Kourtney Kardashian regarding her brain aneurysm.
Kim underwent a full-body MRI scan, also known as a prenuvo scan, for an early diagnosis.
Kim told her sister: "I did a Prenuvo scan, and they called me today, and they’re like, 'Everything looks great. But you have an aneurysm in your brain.'
"They’re like, 'It’s been there for like years. It was here a few years ago'."
A brain aneurysm is a weak blood vessel in an artery in or around the brain. While most aneurysms tend to be small and harmless, if they do rupture, they can turn fatal, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
In one of the more recent episodes, Kim went to Dr Daniel Amen, who would conduct further scans on her brain.
During episode six of season seven, Amen began by telling Kim she had a 'beautiful brain' and noted that she is not at high risk for Alzheimer’s disease. He added that, based on the scan, she is 'not terribly stressed, not anxious, and not depressed'.
However, Dr Amen went on to say she had 'holes' in her brain scan photo, likely indicating 'low activity'.
He said: "The front part of your brain is less active than it should be. With your frontal lobes, as they work now, it would be harder to manage stress, and that's not good for you, especially as you're studying and you're getting ready to take the boards."
Distraught, Kim replied that it 'just can't be', not accepting what the doctor had said.
Amen continued that the result of the scan could also be due to 'chronic stress', which is also very likely, as Kim is studying for the California bar exam day in and day out.
He went on to conclude that the reality star should take steps to manage her stress.
