Gym Plus has just announced that it will partner up with IVF Fertility Clinics in Ireland.
These clinics include the Sims IVF & Rotunda IVF.
The aim of the partnership is to help couples on their fertility journey maintain a healthy lifestyle and look after their physical wellbeing.
The number of Irish couples using IVF to start a family has risen significantly over the last few years. One reason fertility issues may occur can be due to our health, whether it’s weight (over and under) or simply a stressful lifestyle. All of these things can take a toll on our bodies and our health.

Optimal nutrition with a focus on a balanced and antioxidant rich diet along with exercise to achieve a healthy weight, has proven to be a very positive factor for couples trying to start a family. This is where Gym Plus and their new partnership comes in.
Gym Plus trainers will meet with their fertility client and create a unique personalised programme.
Each dedicated trainer will be aware of the client’s stage of treatment and will be able to recommend exercises to ensure no additional stress on the body whilst training.
Whether you need to lose body fat, gain muscle mass or reduce stress levels during what is commonly a very stressful process, the Gym Plus trainers will work closely with their female and male clients in order to ensure optimal results. It can also be a nice way for couples to bond during their fertility journey in an environment outside of doctor’s appointments and clinics.
The Gym Plus trainer will also provide follow-ups every four weeks to ensure the client is staying on track and the programme is a positive experience.
