Hayden Panettiere has been very open about her struggles since becoming a mum to daughter Kaya in December last year.
Appearing on American talk show Live! with Kelly and Michael recently, she spoke about postnatal depression, saying, “It’s something that needs to be talked about. Women need to know that they’re not alone, and that it does heal.”
Now, the US actress “is voluntarily seeking professional help at a treatment centre as she is currently battling postpartum depression” a rep for the star confirmed to People magazine.
This comes just after the 26-year-old tweeted a photo of herself with the caption, “Feeling like I’m #finally coming back into my own body! #mother #daughter #blessing #wellworthit.”
The mum-of-one is looking great, but we hope she gets all the help she needs.
