What’s better than a smoothie? How about a smoothie with caffeine that uses up leftover coffee… hell, yes. Wake up to a drink that fills your stomach, is super-healthy, and feeds your Mum brain too.
When all else fails this smoothie will keep you going in the mornings, like nothing else will.
1. The quick caffeine fix
Serves 2
Ingredients
- A full cup of coffee or a little more (depending on how tired you are!)
- One very ripe banana
- 1/2 cup of milk of your choice
- One tablespoon of agave syrup or honey
- One tablespoon of peanut butter
- One cup of ice
Directions
Pop all the ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth.
2. The smoothie bowl with caffeine
Serves 2
Ingredients
- One cup of cold coffee
- Three cups of milk
- One and a half cups of yogurt
- One and a half cups of blueberries/frozen berries
- 1/2 kiwi
- One banana
- Two tablespoons of peanut butter
- One tablespoon of Cinnamon
- A handful of spinach
- Half an Avocado
- 1/2 cup of flax seed
- 4 ounces of tofu and one/two servings of Floradix (optional)
Directions
Pop all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
Suggestion: Place the mix in a caddy en route with the kids.
