We don’t quite know what this guy was thinking when he decided to upload a picture of his wife’s so-called “period outfit” on Imgur.
We do know why the reaction was what it was – because we can all relate.
The photograph simply shows her in her dressing gown with her pyjama bottoms tucked into her socks.
The caption reads: “This is my wife’s ‘don’t fucking touch me I’m on my period outfit.’”
While we reckon Reddit user chrisflynn85 was probably hoping to get some support from his fellow men, he got exactly the opposite.
Most commenters, including men and women, fell in favour of his wife with some saying that they weren’t sure she would be happy that her picture had been uploaded online.
One wrote: “You better hope she doesn’t find out about this while she’s on it. You’ll be a dead man.”
Another noted: “Holy sh*t, am I your wife? Because I’m wearing almost the exact same thing rigt now. Accented by chocolate ice cream stains.”
This was a sentiment shared by many as another said: “Mine is basically exactly this, only with the addition of a super fluffy robe and two cats that I use as heating pads.”
And one comment that we particularly liked read: “So it’s not cool that this is pretty much my ‘it’s evening and I’m chilling, period or not’ outfit?”
