Mum says €8 body lotion ‘transformed’ her baby’s eczema

We’re listening…

Eczema is probably one of the worst things a parent will ever have to endure when bringing up their child.

The skin condition is common enough in babies, but that doesn’t make it any less painful, uncomfortable, and distracting for infants.

While some parents find it quite easy to source a cream or a medication that’ll do wonders for their baby’s skin, others struggle to find anything that works.

One mum, however, says she has found a body lotion that literally “transformed” her baby’s eczema.

And it only costs about €8.

Sarah Rudd says she tried everything (literally everything) to help her baby’s painful skin condition.

Then she came across Lush’s Dream Cream body lotion and she was fairly delighted because it cleared her baby’s eczema right up.

See for yourself. It’s pretty impressive.

She wrote:

“Most of you saw he was a hot mess last month with the eczema he’d had since birth… nothing we were prescribed worked, even hydrocortisone cream didn’t touch it.

“Tried dairy free formula, Dermol, Nizarol, Aveeno, Oilatum…. nothing made a difference. He didn’t sleep for 4 months because he scratched non stop all night.

“After a shout out we were recommended Dream Cream by Lush and gave it a go; it’s transformed his skin and he’s now completely and utterly eczema free. For anyone else having a hard time, it’s done the job for us.”

Sarah’s post has already been shared over 41,000 times, with others tagging other parents suggesting the cream as a remedy for their child’s condition.

This isn’t the only cheap enough cream that’s done a decent job at keeping irritating skin conditions at bay though.

Last month, one woman shared her experience of Child’s Farm’s Baby Moisturiser, saying that it made her psoriasis “disappear.”

Laura Grey wrote:

“I suffer from psoriasis, have done for years. I get it all up my arms, neck and chest and up until yesterday only hydrocortisone cream would get rid of it, but it’s really harsh and only pharmacists can give you it.

“Yesterday my Mam told me to try this baby moisturiser, I’m not joking 24 hours later my psoriasis is gone! Anyone suffering with psoriasis or eczema you need to try this.”

Not bad for something that costs less than €6, like.
