A mum has shared her son’s last words to her in a heartbreaking and emotive Facebook post.

Nolan Scully passed away after a 15 month battle with a rare form of cancer, Rhabdomyosarcoma or RMS.

The four-year-old died tragically earlier this year and, since then, mum Ruth has been using a Facebook page to preserve her son’s memory.

She regularly shares posts about her son’s last days, his condition, and the money she raised for her #NolanStrong campaign.

Recently, Ruth shared the moment that she forced to say goodbye to her son.

She wrote that she told Nolan that he “didn’t have to fight anymore” and he told her that he wanted to continue to fight for her.

The mum then provided a summary of how her last conversation with her son went.

“Nolan: Sooooo I’ll just go to Heaven and play until you get there. You’ll come right?”

“Ruth: Absolutely!! You can’t get rid of Mommy that easily!!

Ruth then said that while she sang to her son, he said: “I love you, mummy.”

He passed away shortly after.

It has now been almost nine months since Nolan passed away and mum Ruth has continued to keep her son’s memory alive on the Facebook page she set up for him, Nolan Strong.
