Stacey Solomon has spoken openly about experience urinary incontinence after pregnancy.

The presenter said that she doesn’t think there should be such a stigma about the condition and that saying the words ‘incontinence’ and ‘vagina’ in the same sentence shouldn’t be such a big deal.

Writing in her weekly column, the mum said:

“I often laugh uncontrollably or get on the trampoline with the boys and accidents do happen.

“Luckily for me it isn’t bad enough to seek treatment, although it definitely makes me wear extra layers if I’m off to the trampoline park with the boys.”

Stacey went on to say that she knows a lot of women are “suffering in silence” and that she thinks its time for the condition to be normalised.

According to her, almost half of new mums suffer from urinary incontinence after giving birth and a third are too embarrassed to talk about it.

The mum went on to defend fellow celeb mum Danielle Lloyd, who recently admitted to getting surgery to help with her own incontinence.

Stacey said she could empathise with Danielle’s situation.

“I don’t think it helped matters that the programme labelled the interview “Danielle’s designer vagina”.

“That implies it was done purely for cosmetic purposes when Danielle was adamant it was to cure a real medical condition that she was suffering from.”

The Loose Women presenter then said she did the unthinkable – she read what people were saying online about the vaginas of women who have had children.

She admitted that she was horrified to be compared to a “wizard’s sleeve” and that she wasn’t surprised that someone would want to get cosmetic surgery after seeing that.

“We cannot be shocked that a woman would want to undergo these procedures when this is what our vaginas are being compared to.

“After reading them all I genuinely thought to myself, “Is that what mine’s like? Or is my vagina just one more natural birth away from becoming a punched lasagne shoved inside Gandolf’s sleeve?””

Stacey has two children, Zachery and Leighton.

The 28-year-old is currently in a relationship with former EastEnders star, Joe Swash.
