To anyone suffering from hayfever, we are slap bang in the middle of the most hellish season.
Runny nose, itchy eyes, sneezing, swelling – needless to say, when there is tons of pollen in the air, it can really put a damper on our summer mood.
However, there are many of us in the same boat, and as luck would have it, some clever minds have just shared a very simple, yet super-effective hack online – and it seems everyone on the internet is loving it.
All you need?
Good old Vaseline.

So just how does vaseline work for hayfever?
Apparently, the trick is to apply Vaseline into the insides of your nostrils, as high up your nose as possible.
This might sound rather odd, but the Vaseline will act as a barrier balm, meaning it physically stops the pollen from entering your nasal passage and triggering a reaction.
And sure look – if you suffer really badly from hayfever, you still might have to take precautions – but it’s no harm trying to trick anyway – Vaseline is cheap, readily available and harmless.
